Bruise Cream Ingredients

Why does Unibalm work so well for bruise treatment?
It’s all down to the natural healing properties of the ingredients:

Organic Egyptian Castor Oil
Castor oil has natural antibacterial and antifungal properties and is high in skin healing vitamin E which is often used to help prevent bruises.

Bees Wax
The anti-inflammatory properties of beeswax encourage the healing of wounds.

Styrax Benzoin Gum
It’s a natural astringent and disinfectant renowned for its anti-inflammatory qualities, helping to reduce swelling and stop subcutaneous bleeding (bruising)

Cocoa Seed Butter
The oil exhibits anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-allergenic, and antioxidant properties that are beneficial for bruise treatment.

Sunflower Oil
Sunflower oil contains several compounds that have benefits for the skin. They include: oleic acid, vitamin E, sesamol and linoleic acid

Grapeseed Oil
It’s known for its anti-inflammatory; antimicrobial; antioxidant properties.

These properties, along with the high amounts of omega chain fatty acids and vitamin E contained in grapeseed oil, have made it a popular topical treatment for skin.

Geranium Flower Oil
An anti-bacterial astringent, known for making skin tissues and blood vessels contract – hence less bruising.

Clove Oil
It's an effective and natural local anaesthetic which will temporarily numb and relieve initial pain from a percussive injury. Clove oil is also well known for its anti-inflammatory qualities – great for reducing the initial inflammation that is often followed by bruising.

Nutmeg
As with many of the ingredients in Unibalm, it has anti-inflammatory properties.
In a nutshell, by amalgamating all the amazing healing qualities of these natural ingredients, it’s not surprising how effective Unibalm
is for bruise treatment.

Why Unibalm for Bruise Cream?

We set out to create a remedy for bruises having read a number of medical papers that both came to the same conclusion - when tested under controlled conditions Arnica was found to be 'no better than placebo'. *

"you can't knock the placebo effect - many doctors will tell you the success stories they have witnessed from the use of placebos and it is widely recognised that the power of the human body to heal
itself is stronger than one might think. However, we wanted to create a product that could actually stop bruises rather than possibly having a healing effect just because we think it does!"
